The Sun Today: Solar Facts and Space Weather
Here we go again! X2.0 from AR12192 peaking at 10:56 UT. And as with all the previous eruptions no serious ejection of material, a flash of light (flare) without the other stuff (CME or particles.) Besides the resulting R3 radio blackout for high frequency radio (lasts about 1 hour) there will not be a significant space weather impact from the event. credit: NASA/NOAA/SDO/GOES
